The Project
LSK Academy is an academy founded by the Ljungskile SK club. The U21 team plays in the Swedish Cup and Swedish Championship in Division 1.
LSK Academy’s mission is to offer a unique experience for the athlete, with the chance of signing a professional contract with LSK or clubs in Europe.
The project’s Vision is a step-by-step process to introduce athletes from all over the world to the European style of soccer.
The Values are based on Discipline, Humility, Ambition and Respect.

The Club
Ljungskile SK is a Swedish football club located in Ljungskile, a town within Uddevalla Municipality. They currently play in the Swedish third tier, Division1.
The club is mainly known for its rapid rise through the league system, when in just seven years they moved from Division 5 to Allsvenskan (Elite of Swedish football) in the years 1990-1997.
LSK also offers men’s and women’s football activities for youth and children. This work is carried out in collaboration with Groheds IF and currently has around 350 young people and children.
In addition to the Ettan Södra league (Division 1 of the Swedish league), the club also competes in other significant competitions such as the Swedish Cup. Now the club has developed a high-level preparation work in its U21 squad which is open to receive players from all over the world through the LSK Academy.

Skarsjövallen is the home ground of Ljungskile SK.
This stadium was built in 1993 and has a capacity of 5.715 people.
The methodology
The club's aim is to bring top-level players to Europe through intensive experience within a professional club with opportunities to sign a contract in Europe.
The methodology involves a hands-on approach. Players are sent to play for the U21 team that serves as a “showcase” in Sweden, so that they have the chance to show their football at Ljungskile SK and other clubs in Sweden and Europe.
This approach is what generates the amount of opportunities that are offered to players who stand out in this project.

The city of ljungskile is a Swedish city in the province of Bohuslän, in the historic region of Gotland. It belongs to the municipality of Uddevalla, in the county of Västra Götaland. According to the 2022 census, the city has about 3,884 inhabitants. The Bohus railway line and the E6 motorway pass through it.
